Scouting

Scouting, Boy Scouting in particular, is a huge part of my life. I'm involved in Venturing, a high-adventure- and leadership-based program for youth ages 14 to 21, and Sea Scouting, a nautical version of Venturing. In March of 2002, I helped found Venturing Crew 180, and in October of 2004 I helped found Sea Scout Ship 4180, the first Sea Scout Ship in the Sequoia Council. (Yeah, I'm proud of it; can you tell?)
