Most of my focus is on code, the written word and video. But all of those need design skills to truly shine. I have used my graphics skills in everything from branding shows to creating advertising. I branded both The Collegian's Cooking 101 series and Mountain Valley Grower's The Gardener's Minute video podcast. I have also designed some online ads and catalog pages and experimented with digital painting. I also dabble in photography from time to time and have occasionally shot photographs for Fresno State's student newspaper, both for the print edition and the online edition.
Photography
The photos below are a sampling of miscellaneous projects I have done over the last five years. The Fresno State women's equestrian team hosted several teams from the midweast and East Coast in this end-of-the-season show. The English riding photos are mine; most Western riding photos are by Sarah Dowlearn because I was riding at that time. Because the Collegian Online's installation of SlideShow Pro does not allow linking to individual albums, this link will take you to the main index of all albums.
(Sept. 2007) Sierra Cup Classic: Soundslides for The Collegian. Fresno State hosts an annual high school marching band competition. Photos and audio by me and Benjamin Baxter.

Catalog for Mountain Valley Growers, Inc.'s 2008 catalog and their 25th anniversary year. I did everything from photograph the orchard that forms the background to write the subheads. I also designed the inside pages and page headers, which I will upload later.
Digitally painted from a photograph of me and my mother as a Mother's Day present. This wallpaper uses layer masks and opacities to create an airbrushed look.
